Idaho’s Brundage Mountain Resort has capped the number of students that can be in a lesson program in order to elevate learning potential. Those learning to ski or snowboard will get more personalized instruction with smaller group lesson sizes.

The smaller class sizes for ski and snowboard lessons are intended to improve the learning potential for students. Brundage has capped group lessons at a maximum of six students per instructor. The group lessons are termed “semi-private.”

Brundage’s learn to ski and snowboard programs also benefit from the limit on group lesson size. First timers to the slopes will get a more personalized introduction to skills.

The Learn to Ski Guarantee program is designed to get first-time skiers and snowboarders on solid footing. The program includes unlimited lessons on Easy Street Triple Chair to master the basics of stopping and turning on Easy Street run.

When participants are ready to advance, they can take a lesson on the Bear Chair, which is also included in the program. Two days of rentals and two lift tickets for the Easy Street Chair are built into the Learn to Ski Guarantee program.

Although the program launched in early January as part of the National Learn a Snowsport Month, Brundage Mountain plans to offer it all season long. The Learn to Ski Guarantee program costs $99. It is available to anyone age 12 years old through adult.
