Call in sick on a powder day, but don’t say we told you so. Then hit the slopes at Copper with the Snow Day Pass. There are still a lot of snowy days ahead of us this season, which is why the pass is still for sale.

The Snow Day Pass costs $99 and you can ski any day the mountain gets more than four inches of snow. As a bonus, you’ll get guaranteed access on Super Bowl Sunday, which is Feb. 3, and Closing Day, which is April 14.

“We do guarantee two days: Super Bowl Sunday and Closing Day. We average about 30 snow days here at Copper per year. Because the pass is just $99, that equals out to about three dollars a day,” says Stephanie Sweeney, public relations coordinator for Copper Mountain.

The Snow Day is announced at 5:30 that morning if the mountain gets four inches or more in the previous 24 hours. “We announce it on the Copper website, Facebook, and Twitter. We also send out an email to all passholders,” says Sweeney.

Once the word is out, you can zip over to Copper and hop in line. “Our lift lines are short so it’s really great just to have these people come and then not have to wait in a lift line, or in line to get a ticket. So no lines at all.”

Another bonus is that Snow Day passholders get two Friends and Family Tickets that can be redeemed starting at $69 each. You can use them yourself on a non-qualifying snow day, or give them to a friend or family member. Just show your Snow Day Pass at the ticket window.

The Snow Day Pass is valid now through the end of the season. It’s a picture pass which means your friends can’t use it or you get in trouble. It is also non-refundable and not for resale.
