In honor of January being National Learn to Ski & Snowboard Month, Homewood Mountain Resort in Lake Tahoe, California is offering discounted learn to ski/ride packages. Hit the slopes of one of Tahoe’s most beautiful resorts with one of their certified instructors in a safe and fun environment for cheap.

For just $44 (regularly $84), guests receive a 2.5-hour beginner lesson, beginner lift ticket and all-day equipment rentals. The package is good any Sunday through Friday (non-holiday) until Feb. 14, 2013, and they must be purchased 48 hours in advance.

Guests can choose to upgrade to a three-day package for an even better deal. For $81 more, for a total of $125, receive two additional days of instruction, rentals and tickets. This deal is undeniably one of the best beginner deals around the lake. The upgrade must be purchased by the end of the day of the first lesson.

This package also comes with Homewood’s Learn to Ski/Ride Guarantee. They promise that anyone who takes a three-day lesson with their instructors will be able to ski or ride down Homewood’s signature Homewood Bound run, which offers top to bottom turns with the incredible views of Lake Tahoe the entire way down, by the end of the third day or the fourth lesson package is free.
