With Michigan’s mid-January thaw out of the way, the Upper Peninsula’s Indianhead Mountain has put together a series of deals to get you through the season with money left in your parka pocket. There’s even a special deal for the upcoming Martin Luther King holiday weekend.
Try the ‘head’s "Ski 3, Stay Free!" three-night package, one of the best deals to hit its slopes in a long time.
Buy a regular-priced three-day adult lift ticket and get three night’s hotel lodging free. The offer is valid through March 28 for midweek stays only (Sunday-Thurday night). There’s a minimum two persons per room, and each must purchase that three-day ducat. Three-day lif tickets alone are normally $138 per person, so you're saving up to 40 percent.
Ski two days and get a third free over Martin Luther King weekend with a special online ticket offer.
Combine that offer with Indianhead’s seventh Annual Brewski Microbrew Festival Saturday, Jan. 19 from 5 p.m. to close at the resort’s Dudley's Saloon. Enjoy great skiing and then sample some great regional favorites along with nationally known brews.
More than 20 different beers and ales will be available. Cost is $33 in advance and includes event admission, hors d'oeuvres, souvenir sampler glass and 20 drink coupons. Giveaways and prizes are also part of the fun.
Tickets available in advance online for $33, or $38 at the door. Additional brews available for purchase. Sorry dudelets, but the brewfest is limited to those 21 and over. Click here to purchase tickets.
