High Mountain Heli-Skiing has been flying in western Wyoming for thirty-eight years. Although things have changed in town, and at the nearby resorts of Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole, HMH is still shuttling people to untracked powder in the Snake River and Hoback Ranges.
HMH is a friendly, casual operation befitting its Wyoming roots, but they take their powder hunting seriously. The daily operations of HMH allow skiers the flexibility to choose to heli-ski just one or two days of a Jackson Hole trip, and stay at any nearby hotel of their choosing. HMH operates early morning shuttles to transport skiers to one of its two bases. Depending on which range you ski, the shuttles arrive at Teton Springs Lodge, Victor, on the west side of Teton Pass, or at the Snake River Sporting Club on the east side.
For anyone looking to add some guaranteed untracked powder to a Wyoming ski trip, or to realize the thrill of heli-skiing without the financial commitment of a full week, HMH is a great option.
