Despite the claims that college is all about partying and a life without responsibility (well, sometimes it is), it is also a lot of work. It's important to rest those brain cells over break and get plenty of R&R. College Week celebrations at your local mountain are often the perfect cure for any lasting effects from the semester's rigorous mental exertion. Trouble is, many College Week specials are limited to just one week. At Mount Snow, they understand that sometimes it takes a little extra time to nurse oneself back to full cerebral capacity, so they pack not one, but two back to back weeks with a full roster of events, parties and excuses to be on snow.

College Week, or should we say Weeks, at Mount Snow run January 7-11 and 14-18, and all events are FREE to college students (must show valid college ID). Here's your schedule, no syllabus required.

Mondays: Welcoming Party and Trivia Night @ Cuzzins

Tubesdays: FREE Disco Tubing and Oakley Rail Jam at the Tubing Hill 4:30-6:30pm

Wednesdays: Free Race Arena from 12-2pm, Apres Ski Party @ One More Time with Ski Movies, Pool & Dart Tournaments (a college students natural habitat)

Thursdays: $29 Lift Tickets with any VALID college ID, College Olympics, Party @ The Silo w/ a live DJ, drink specials, and more.

Fridays: Pop up jam at Carinthia -- impromptu 30 minute rail jam w/ swag & prizes. Feature/location announced that day via Twitter. Just show up and throw down.

Unlike your alma mater, Mount Snow even offers students ways to save money on an education they really want. The Winter Session ($379) gets you 5 days of rentals, a 2-day lower mountain ticket and 2-day beginner lesson package, and at the end of day 2, instead of a framed certificate of completion and a handshake, you'll get a Higher Ed Pass good for the rest of the 2013 winter.

Don't want to commute from Mom and Dad's everyday? We don't blame you. Maintain your independence with a 5 Day / 5 Night lift and lodging package starting at just $279 per person, based on quad occupancy. Get 20 or more of your friends together and save up to $90 per person.

Already holding a Higher Education pass? Good move. For just $99 per person you can stay 5 nights at Snow Lake Lodge, based on quad occupancy. Best of all, the Moover shuttle will get you where you need to go for free so there's no need to drive. All parties are 18+ and students must show a valid college ID or Higher Ed pass to receive a college week deal.
