Wolf Creek Ski Area is known to keep things down-to-earth and holds out as one of the few remaining mom ‘n pop mountains in Colorado -- which is why they’re able to keep skiing and riding affordable for everyone that visits.

Sure, it’s National Learn to Ski or Snowboard Month, but Wolf Creek hopes you’ve got the learning itch throughout the entire winter, and the proof is in their Beginner Package. Offered every day throughout the season, the Beginner Package is an easy and mellow introduction for first time skiers and riders.

From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., harness the fundamentals of edge control and turning during a group lesson on the beginner-friendly Nova chairlift. The package runs $56 for skiers and $66 for snowboarders and is available to both adults and children, ages 9+.

If you’re geared up for a second day of skiing or riding, sign up for the 2nd Day Beginner Package, designed to cover more terrain with minimal instruction (2 hours). Rates are $65 for skiers and $70 for snowboarders ages 13+. Participants can upgrade to a full-day lesson (4 hours) for $20 more.

The prices of the beginner packages do not include rentals. Click here for more info, or call 970-264-5639 to register.
