Master the art of skiing or snowboarding with Telluride’s 3-day beginner ski or snowboard adventure. In conjunction with January’s Learn to Ski or Snowboard Month, these learn-to-ski/ride classes are designed to give first time snow riders an easy introduction to the sport.

Beginners looking to pick up skiing can sign up for the Beginning Skiing Adventure and find confidence with the help of four metal edges (and encouragement from a ski instructor, too). The package includes a lift ticket, lesson and rentals and is available to first time skiers only. You’ll ski from 11:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m., but if that’s not enough time on hill, purchase two days of this package (complete with all its perks), and receive the third day of instruction, rentals and lift ticket for free.

If snowboarding sounds more appealing, sign up for Burton’s Beginner Learn to Ride Snowboard Package at Telluride. The package includes a full-day lesson, a lift ticket and snowboard gear rentals that are designed especially for beginner riders. Much like your skiing comrades, you’ll hit the slopes from 11:15 a.m. – 3:45 p.m. and will receive a third free day with the purchase of two Learn to Ride packages.
