Val d'Isere will host the Natives Workers' Challenge for the sixth time March 11, 2009. This is a chance for skiers and boarders to compete in slope-style events in a relaxed atmosphere.

One hundred skiers and snowboarders will race against the clock to qualify for the knock-out rounds. There are lots of prizes to be won for the best male and female skier and snowboarder in ‘Worker', ‘Beginner', ‘Guest', and many other categories.

The Ski Clubof Great Britain says: "Whether you are in your first season or you 100th, the Native Workers' Challenge will be a great opportunity for you and your friends to take part in mountain events . . . it offers the chance to sample the adrenaline rush of competing in a relaxed, but professional format at one of our three events in Meribel, Val d'Isere or St Anton."

Each race is followed by prize-giving and an after-party with free drinks and goodies.

Val d'Isere is in the legendary ski area of Espace Killy, with access to 300 kilometres of slopes served by 96 lifts. There is also a snow park with plenty of jumps and rails. You'll find plenty of apres ski available in the village after a day on the slopes.
