Save big and ride hard during the X Games in Aspen, Jan. 24-27. College students can catch a break with a two-day pass to all four of Aspen’s mountains, for $82. The X Games are on Buttermilk Mountain. But the pass is also good at Aspen, Snowmass, and Aspen Highlands as well.
The College X Pass is a picture pass good for two days of skiing and riding during the Aspen X Games. You can add two more days for $52 a day. It is good only during the X games in late January and you have to purchase it before Jan. 23.
The College X Pass can be purchased online. You must be 24 years or younger and present a valid I.D. from an accredited four-year college course when you pick up the pass. Only one pass is allowed per person. Your picture will be on it so it is non-transferrable, and non-refundable. Unused days have no value.
You can also get a 35-percent discount off equipment rentals at Four-Mountain Sports.
The excitement is all over town and not just on the slopes of Buttermilk. A Free Bud-Light Hi-Fi concert featuring Mutemath is at the base of Aspen Mountain at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 26.
“X Games Aspen is always a huge hit with the college crowd,” says John Rigney, Vice President of Sales and Events at Aspen Skiing Company. “This Mutemath show just adds to the excitement throughout the resort during this amazing weekend.” Mutemath is an American alternative rock band from New Orleans.
Lodging during the X Games sells out quickly. If you plan to book a room, do it soon.
