The snow continues to fall all over California and China Peak in Lakeshore, CA is no exception with just over a foot of new snow over the past week. With more snow in the forecast, it’s the perfect time for first-time skiers and snowboarders to take advantage of China Peak’s Learn to Ski or Ride Package and get out on the mountain.
The Central California resort is offering a beginner package for $65, making it one of the most affordable learn to ski or ride programs in the Sierras. The deal includes a beginner lift ticket, complete ski or snowboard rental equipment and a small group lesson with a ski or snowboard school professional instructor.
The second and third lesson package will cost $49 if you show your Learn To Ride lift ticket to the ticket window. After your third day on the mountain, a 2012/2013 season pass can be purchased for just $65 (regularly priced $419 – that’s an 84-percent discount). This deal is good for anyone ages 13 and up throughout the season.
The mountain’s new Learn-to-Ride Center offers added convenience and space to get the right gear and walk just steps to meet the instructor at the first-timer moving carpet.
