‘Tis the season for giving at Brighton this month. In addition to Quad Wednesdays, which offers screamin’ lift ticket deals when you bring charitable items to donate on certain days in December, skiers and riders can also claim a cheap lift ticket by signing up for the Shred the Edge fundraiser for $40. All proceeds from the event benefit the efforts of Special Olympics Utah.

On Saturday, Dec. 15, the Shred the Edge fundraiser will bring out a slew of slopeside fun to Brighton Resort, including a rail jam, a photo booth, raffles, ski and snowboard waxing, races against the Utah Ski Team and meet-and-greets with athletes like Pep Fujas, Wiley Miller and a few other local pros. DJ Thump Factor will also be providing shred-worthy tunes all day long.

Participation in the jam isn’t mandatory to receive this lift ticket deal, although pre-registration is required by midnight on Friday, Dec. 14 to receive your $40 ticket. Rail jam registration for season pass holders will take place the morning of the event and is $10 per person (a parent or guardian is necessary for participants under 18).
