Purgatory at Durango Mountain Resort wants you to know that traveling with kids in tow doesn’t have to be expensive. Thanks to their Kids Ski Free package, you might even save enough cash to put towards an extra day of skiing for the whole family.
Book four or more nights of lodging, starting at $199 per family/per night, and purchase four days of discounted lift tickets for mom and dad through Durango’s central reservation department, and up to two kids under 12 will receive four days of free skiing or riding. Any of Durango’s lodging properties are available with this package, with the best rates being offered at the Lodge at Tamarron, a free, 10-minute shuttle ride away from the resort.
With January approaching, there’s even more opportunity to pocket some extra cash throughout the month during the nationally recognized Learn to Ski and Snowboard month. Durango will offer heavily discounted beginner ski and snowboard packages – including lift tickets, rentals and lessons – for all ages, making it easy for mom, dad and the kids to pick up a new, lifelong sport.
The Kids Ski Free package is unavailable for Dec. 24, 2012 – Jan. 4, 2013 or Mar. 8, 2013 – Mar. 14, 2013.
