Mt. Rose is celebrating the holiday season with their 12th Annual Santa Ski Crawl on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012. The event rewards guests with $39 lift tickets for skiing or snowboarding dressed up in a Santa costume.

To qualify for the discounted lift ticket, you must be dressed up in more than just a Santa hat. The mountain has a full schedule set for guests, which includes group photos, Santa hat surprise giveaway and an après party:

8-10 a.m Rooftop Santa Welcoming all Santas and Elves

11 a.m Meet for Group photos. All Santas and Elves meet at NW Load Area, and then head up the chair for a mass Santa ski/snowboard run.

1:30 p.m Santa hat surprise give away. Guests should plan to look for clues on the Reader board

2:30pm Apres Party at Timbers Bar in the Main lodge. The party will host a contest for best Mr. Kringle, Ms Candy Cane and Ugly Sweater.

This event is a great way to kick off Reno’s Santa Pub Crawl, which takes place later on that evening in downtown Reno. The Pub Crawl consists of over 3,000 patrons dressed up as Santas and other holiday costumes filling the bars, restaurants and pubs under the city’s trademark arch.
