With above normal snowfall this season, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opened top-to-bottom this weekend, offering skiers and snowboarders 4,139 feet of thigh-burning descent. In addition, the resort is now selling discounted lift tickets online.

The ski resort bumped open the Arial Tram, Sublette, and Thunder lifts over the weekend. It also inaugurated the new Casper Chairlift last Thursday with first chair ridden by Jackson Hole owners, president, and photographer Bob Woodall, who rode first chair in the 1970s on the old Casper lift.

This year, you don’t have to pay full rates at the ticket window to ski or ride Jackson Hole. The resort has discounted lift tickets if purchased online 48 hours or more in advance. For adults, that means a discount of $3-5, depending on the rate during the season. Jackson Hole’s adult holiday lift ticket runs $105 this year, so you can get on the hill for a flat $100.

Online discounted lift tickets are also available for juniors and seniors. You can also buy multiday lift tickets in advance to knock a few more dollars off.
