Free lift tickets, free rentals, free lessons. Yep. That about says it all. Brian Head Resort in Southern Utah is offering free lift tickets, free ski and snowboard rentals and free adult and children lessons for one day only. If you've always wanted to give skiing or snowboarding a shot or to check out what riding Southern Utah is all about, well, you know where to go.

Head to the hill on Thursday, Dec. 13 and ski or ride for free. No “free with purchase,” no proof of residency, no age restrictions, no circus acts. Just show up and shred. Lift tickets can be reserved online, but it’s not essential since everyone will have a chance to snag this deal.

For those just starting out or wanting to brush up on a few skills, Brian Head will offer free group ski and snowboard lessons on the same day. Online reservations are required 72 hours in advance, however, for all lessons, which can be reserved http://www.brianhead.com/winter/lessons/kids-programs" target="_blank">here.

Even rentals are up for grabs. Although ski and snowboard rentals are first come, first served, Brian Head offers a handy tip: rent your equipment after 3 p.m. on Dec. 12 so you’re ready for the slopes the next day at 9 a.m. Demo gear is not included with the free offer, but standard rentals include all the essentials you need to start making some turns.
