In the spirit of giving, Brighton Resort will take the guilt out of skipping work this month and taking some laps on the hill.

With the return of Quad Wednesdays, skiers and riders can shred for a cause at Brighton and receive oh-so-cheap day lift tickets. Participate in Brighton’s charity drive during the first three Wednesdays of this month and scoop up a $20 lift ticket, good for the whole mountain.

This year’s Quad Wednesday kicks off on Dec. 5 and benefits the Utah Toys for Tots chapter. Skiers and snowboarders can bring a new, unwrapped toy worth $10 or more to the ticket office, and receive a full day lift pass, valid on the same day.

The charity drive continues on Dec. 12, where skiers and riders can donate a coat, gloves or a pack of unopened socks to benefit the Road Home Homeless Shelter. The last chance to hit the slopes for $20 is on Dec. 19 with a food drive for the Utah Food Bank. Bring one grocery bag full of non-perishable food items and get down at Brighton for $20.

Only donations for the charity of the day will be accepted, and lift tickets are valid for same-day use. Cash or check donations are not accepted.
