Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are offering beginner learn to ski and snowboard packages for just $30 during the 13th Annual Learn to Ski and Snowboard Weekend Dec. 8 and 9, 2012. The deal includes a beginner lift ticket, rental equipment and lessons.

The weekend is geared toward beginner riders three and up. In a unique fashion, there will be learning stations set up for teens and adults to progress their riding through different levels. Each station will have a specific skill and once mastered, the skiers and riders move on to the next. They have the choice to spend as much time as they wish at each station throughout the day.

The lessons will be offered from 10 a.m to 2 p.m on both days.

For kids 3 to 13, there will be $30 beginner lesson packages at Squaw Kids and Alpine Kids. These lessons are offered during morning sessions with registration from 8:15 am – 9:15 am and pick up time at 12:15 pm, or afternoon sessions with registration before 1 p.m and pickup at 3:30 p.m. Reservations must be made for kids lessons by calling Squaw Kids at (530) 452-7225 or Alpine Kids at (530) 452-4349 or (800) 403-0206.
