Attention Lake Tahoe skiers! Make sure your powder planks are waxed and ready, because a monster storm is set to hit the Sierra Nevada. Forecasts are calling for up to 7 feet of snow from now until Sunday in some areas, and the higher elevations have already started to see some of the white stuff flying.

The snow will be a welcome relief to the region who had below average snowfall last season, and as the snow from this storm is tracked out, it should make for a great base for Tahoe ski areas moving forward. Tahoe skiers will be sure to reap the benefits of this storm, while the rest of the country watches with jealousy. Hopefully this storm is a sign of things to come, not just for Tahoe, but for the entire country this season.
