Those who missed Black Friday and Cyber Monday can still get in on the action at Winter Park. The resort is offering a 48-hour sale that includes discounts on lift tickets and lodging.

“It is kind of a fun way to get a good deal out and do something that we haven’t done much of in the past, specifically regarding lift tickets. We thought it was a good idea to spur some early season sales,” said Steve Hurlbert, the Communications Manager for Winter Park Resort.

Purchase an early season lift ticket for $39 that can be used now through Dec. 20, but you have can only buy the tickets through this Thursday, Nov. 29. The current window rate for an adult ticket is $69 so that is saving close to 50 percent.

A second pre-purchase offer features 25 percent off lift ticket prices. Those tickets are good from Dec. 21 through the end of the season on April 21.  This includes the entire season, even the busy holidays and Spring Break. Prices vary during those times, and also depend on multi-day passes. The basic price for a lift ticket is between $85 and $94 a day, depending on the time of year that you go. If you book in advance right now, you can get $21 to $23 a day off of the price, for an adult daily lift ticket.

“It is definitely an advantage if they know they’re going to come out and visit and are going to ski here. Take advantage of the 25 percent savings now because it is gone after Thursday,” added Hurlbert.

A lodging deal is also being offered for $99 at Fraser Crossing and Founders Pointe, Nov. 27 through Dec. 25. These properties are both located at the Winter Park base area. Hurlbert adds that the lodging deal is nice, too. “It’s just kind of another way to gear up for that big holiday. Christmas through New Year’s is always super busy and we thought this was a good way to get people excited for the pre-Christmas holiday."

You can call Winter Park directly, or book your tickets online through midnight Thursday night, Nov. 29.
