Over the Thanksgiving weekend, Mont-Sainte-Anne kicked off ski season in Quebec. The Gondola began spinning Saturday morning to carry excited skiers and riders up to their first turns of the season.
At the same time, it's sister mountain, Stoneham, greeted freestyle skiers and riders with their annual night-time competition and a kick-off party marking the start to the year. While Stoneham isn't yet open for full-time skiing and riding, this weekend was an all out celebration and got the locals fired up for the season to come.
Another way these sister mountains are ringing in the new season is by offering a long list of dual-mountain lodging packages that grant skiers and riders access to more than 750 acres of terrain across the two ski areas, while saving big on multi-day lift/lodging combos.
Stoneham and Mont-Sainte-Anne's Book Early and Save Package is available for all three-night stays booked by December 1, 2012. Starting at just $91 per person, per night, this package saves early birds 20 percent off on lodging and lift tickets during their minimum three-night stay and includes a three-day lift ticket valid at Stoneham and/or Mont-Sainte-Anne.
This package is valid any time during the season except from December 22, 2012 to January 6, 2013. And it must be booked by December 1.
Mont-Sainte-Anne and Stoneham are located just 30 minutes from vibrant and historic Quebec City, offering amazing skiing, within a short drive to fine dining and world-class shopping. With a combined 106 trails, eight terrain parks, an Olympic-sized halfpipe and extensive night skiing less than three hours from the US border, these resorts put the experience of a real European ski vacation well within reach of American skiers and riders in the Northeast.
