After a few early season storms, Mt. Rose was able to kick off the 2012/2013 ski season last week with top-to-bottom runs. Not only do they have great snow coverage, but they also offer some of the cheapest tickets and lessons around the lake.

This early season, adult lift ticket can be purchased for just $44 online or $49 at the ticket window. Guests can save even more by purchasing multi-day lift tickets online. A two-day adult ticket is $66 ($33/day) and three-day is $79 ($26.33/day).

Newcomers can also enjoy the slopes for cheap with their learn-to-ride packages available for all ages. Mt Rose’s First Timers Package and Rosebuds Kids Camps cost just $44 if purchased in advance online or $49 at the ticket window, and the price is valid until Dec 21, 2012.

The First Timers Package is for children 11 and older, as well as adults. The Rosebuds Kids Camps are for children 10 and under at all different abilities. Both packages include a two-hour lesson, equipment rental (skis/boots/poles or snowboard/boots) and a beginner lift ticket for the one low price.
