With gas prices what they are these days, we're forced to be more discerning with the extra trips we make out of the house. But the last thing this should impact is your ability to get to the mountain. To help curb the cost of commuting to the slopes, Cataloochee Ski Area has come up with the Drive, Slide & Stay midweek package to make both getting to the mountain and staying at the mountain more feasible.
The Drive, Slide & Stay package includes 2 Midweek Marathon (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.) lift tickets, 2 Midweek Marathon (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.) ski or snowboard rentals, 2 lessons at any level, a $10 gas card and 2 nights of lodging. Lift tickets are valid only for non-holiday skiing and riding Monday-Friday, but the full day Marathon passes allow more than 12 hours of on-snow access throughout the day. Hit the fresh corduroy early, then head back for some evening turns under the lights.
The package requires a two night minimum stay during any non-holiday Sunday through Wednesday night. Pricing discounts are per person based on double (or quad where indicated) occupancy. Choose from over 10 local lodging partners, with rates starting as low as $135/per person.
