Throughout the fall at Sundance Resort, the Robert Redford Film Series showcases some of the owner/actor’s A-list flicks during his Hollywood tenure in the resort’s private movie theater.
This small, annual film series kicked off in October, but there’s still time to catch the remaining two movies, which happen to be some of Redford’s most popular American West films: Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid and Jeremiah Johnson.
Both films are slated for Thanksgiving weekend, and while the lifts won’t be open for skiing and snowboarding until Dec. 7, the resort is geared up for plenty of other activities, including ongoing art classes, fly fishing tours and snowshoeing through the woods on the freshly snow-covered trails. Who knows, you may even get a glimpse of Redford, himself, strolling the grounds before your movie.
Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid hits the Sundance Screening Room on Fri., Nov. 23 and Jeremiah Johnson on Sat., Nov. 24. Both films begin at 8pm and are free to the public. For more info, call 866-734-4428 or click here.
