Aspen is kicking off the season with the MVP First Tracks, a three-for-two offer, which is good opening day through December 20. Snowmass and Aspen Mountain are scheduled to open Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 22, Aspen Highlands is scheduled to open Dec. 8, and Buttermilk Dec. 15.
The deal with First Tracks is that when you buy two, you get three on lift tickets, equipment rentals, and group lessons (all kids group lessons ages 5 – 17 and adult group lessons level 4 and up). The deal is good for your early season visits to Aspen. But you need to book your deal by Nov. 19.
A similar deal is offered for Jan. 5 to Feb. 7. It’s called the Perfect Storm and it offers the same deal but you must buy four days to get the deal on the fifth day. The Perfect Storm needs to be booked by Monday, Dec. 17.
Storms have been rolling through the Aspen area, leaving snow on top of its four mountains. Snowmaking is underway on Aspen Mountain. It’s also where the world’s best women’s ski racers will compete in the Audi FIS Ski World Cup under Lift 1A on Aspen Mountain. The World Cup is in town Nov. 24-25.
