Have a stellar student in your house? They can collect more than just good grades this season when they visit northern Michigan's Treetops Resort.

Located just east of Interstate 75 at Gaylord, Treetops is building its reputation as one of the state’s top family ski and snowboarding resorts, and is rewarding kids who do well in school with a huge discount for season passes.

Any student aged eight and above with proof of a grade point average of 3.5 or above can purchase a season pass for just $40.

Can’t make that 3.5 cut? No problem! If you’ve earned a GPA of 3.0 to 3.49, line up for a season pass for only $60.

Just buy your pass either online or in person, then bring your report card for verification to pick up your prize.

The rates are good through Nov. 30, when they increase by $20.
