Whistler Blackcomb is rewarding early planners. Skiers and snowboarders can save up to 39 percent on winter vacations by making reservations for a lift and lodging package by Nov. 15, 2012.

Booking early allows you to lock in lower rates for lift ticket and lodging packages. But Whistler Blackcomb also stands behind the low rates. If the price drops lower for the equivalent package, they’ll match it. Some conditions apply to the guarantee, so be sure to investigate the fine print.
Packages discounted under this program are for five nights of lodging and four days of skiing. Rates for the packages start at $96 per person per night.
You can also add on rentals, lessons, and activities for discounted rates if booked early. Reserving your rentals in a lift and lodging package before Nov. 15 can save up to 33 percent off your gear, for example. You can also reserve a rental car and get a $20 gas card.
Families also get a good deal as kids 12 and younger get freebies for bookings made by Nov. 15. The kids can stay, ski, and rent free provided parents are purchasing at least three-day lift tickets and rentals, too. Some blackout date apply to this program. Family packages start at $109 per adult per night.
