Buy and Sell New and Used Gear at the 30th Annual Truckee Ski Swap

Back for its 30th season is the annual Truckee Ski Swap on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. Buy or sell new and used equipment, accessories, clothes and other miscellaneous winter gear for all ages. 

The event will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Community Recreation Center at 8924 Donner Pass Road in Truckee, CA. Cost for admission is $2 for anyone age 13+ and free for kids under 12. 

Event proceeds will go toward Truckee Youth Sports Programs such as Buddy Werner, Cross Country and Youth basketball. The ski swap is a great opportunity to get gear for the entire family for a fraction of the cost of retail prices while supporting a good cause. 

Representatives from local ski shops and resorts will be on hand to answer questions during the event.

Sell your gear:

Any business or individual can drop off goods to sell at the swap. There is an 18% commission charge on all items sold, and gear tags can be picked up this week at the Main Office of the Rec Center.

Schedule:

Merchant check-in: Friday, Nov. 2, 5-7 p.m.

Public check-in: Saturday Nov. 3, 7:30-9 a.m.

Equipment pick-up: Saturday, Nov. 3, 5-7 p.m.

Sales check: Sunday, Nov. 4, 9-11 a.m.
