This winter, Porsche, a company recognised for 86 years as a leading automobile manufacturer, will unveil in the resort of Laax a world first: a Porsche-designed, solar-powered ski-lift.

The six-seater lift combines Porsche's futuristic design with increased speed and solar-powered heating, making it one of the world’s first ‘green’ ski lifts. The ’Wellness seat’ can also be set to 'Panorama Mode', tilting 45 degrees to allow unparalleled views.

80 percent of the ski slopes in Laax are situated between 2,000m to 3,000m, giving the resort an excellent snow record. The lift system links 220km of pistes and there is a good selection of inviting mountain restaurants and après-ski.

The ski resort is currently running a competition to win a ski holiday. Laax, SWISS International Air Lines and Ski Solutions are offering a five-day winter break to Laax for two with accommodation at the signinahotel, flights with Swiss International Air Lines and lift passes. Just click on the following link and answer a simple question (the answer is in this news article) and fill out your details. Win a ski holiday in Laax.
