Looking for a deal on condos for your winter ski or snowboard trip? Try Big Sky Resort in Montana. You can save 35 percent on slope side condos this winter.

Here’s how it works: Big Sky Central Reservations is offering discounts on four condominium complexes for the winter of 2012-2013. The discount applies to regular season rates, so blackout dates for high season apply, making the discount unavailable Dec. 25, 2012- Jan. 6, 2013; Feb. 13-23, 2013; and March 2-9, 2013. You also need to book at least a two-night minimum stay to get the discount.

For accommodations are available for the discount during regular season: The Beaverhead, Alpenglow and Big Horn condominiums along with the new Powder Ridge cabin development.

Beaverhead condo units overlook White Wing, a beginner run, making it appealing to families with beginner skiers. The condos come in two-, three-, and four-bedroom units with large living rooms. They usually run from $419 to $1,525 per night.

Alpenglow condominiums provide cheaper accommodations ranging from $231 to $694 per night. The two- and three-bedroom units sit on the shuttle route, making it easy to catch a ride to the lifts. Some units have hot tubs, and access to the swimming pool, hot tub, and fitness room at Huntley Lodge is included.

The Big Horn condos, located within walking distance from the Bear Back Poma lift, features one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Rates run from $299 to $838, and include access to the Huntley Lodge pools and fitness amenities.

The new Powder Ridge development offers three-, four-, and five-bedroom log cabins tucked in the woods for seclusion. The roomy cabins come with fireplaces and private hot tubs. You can access the slopes via the White Otter lift. The cabins run regularly from $469 to $1,149 per night.
