Bruce Willis has donated his small Idaho ski area to a non-profit group.
The Die Hard actor has been owner of Soldier Mountain Ski Area since the 1990s, but has handed over the keys to non-profit group Soldier Mountain Ski Area Inc. which is dedicated to keeping it running. Willis is also selling his home and bar in nearby Hailey.
Willis announced the news in a statement, writing, “I couldn’t be more pleased with the organization that will be responsible for the management of the Soldier Mountain Ski Area. The community came together, established the SMSA organization, and now assures its continued success. It was exciting to see that the very people who ski at Soldier care so much about its future. I wish them the very best.”
Willis bought the ski resort back when his was married to Demi Moore. The whole family have been regular visitors of the ski resort over the last 20 years.
