It's no mystery as to why season passes are a good investment. They're one of the few you can make that begin paying you back instantly, maybe not in cold hard cash, but definitely in fun. Plus, if you're quick to snap one up during a pre-season special, you can find a little extra cash in your pocket when the season starts, and who wouldn't like that? Hunter Mountain skiers and riders who want to get the best rates on a 2012/13 season passes and/or seasonal learning programs need to invest by October 15.

Hunter Mountain season passholders get to enjoy some pretty sweet perks. For instance, passholders receive 50% off snowtubing sessions, non-holiday (excludes 1-3pm and 3-5pm sessions on Saturdays) and one free admission per passholder for Skyride, German Alps Festival and the International Celtic Festival events.

Best of all, pass holders may purchase up to four anytime lift tickets per pass (excluding Toddler Passes), valid during the 2012-13 season. Treat some friends to a day on the snow and measure your return on investment with the grins on their faces. These tickets must be purchased by October 15.

Looking to improve your skills on the hill? Hunter's 2012/13 Seasonal Programs give kids and adults the chance to enhance their on-mountain experience by conquering fears and achieving goals through coaching with certified instructors. Ski the bumps or quench your need for speed with a little race training. Learn in a group environment that and exceed your own expectations. Programs run every weekend from December 9, 2012 through March 10, 2013, with multiple meeting times designed to fit your schedule.
