Enjoy a Mountain Getaway for Two at the Jasper Park Lodge

In winter, Alberta's Jasper National Park spreads out into a snowy playground full of ice walks, ice skating, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and it's ski area, Marmot Basin, is at the center of it all. What better way to top off the frosty fun than hitting the spa at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. To make planning easy, the lodge offers a ski and spa package for two. Of course, lodging is part of the deal, too.

The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge opened their new spa two winters ago. The 10,000 square-foot spa is inspired by the awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies and features 10 treatment rooms, two couples massage rooms (equipped with Jacuzzis), rain showers, therapeutic mineral baths and steam rooms. The lodge also includes an outdoor heated swimming pool and sauna.

The lodge’s ski and spa package offers a way to soothe sore muscles after spending the day sailing down the slopes at Marmot Basin. The package, available Nov. 11, 2012 through Apr. 30, 2013, includes lodging, lift tickets with complimentary ski shuttle, and a spa treatment. The reservation must be for a minimum of two nights and comes with double occupancy accommodations in a Fairmont room. The package starts at $349 per night.

The spa treatments available in the package target joint relief and relaxation for post-outdoor adventures. Treatments include the Jasper Wrap, Chamomile Scrub, Feet Retreat or the All Canadian Body Buffer. Select facials are available, too.

The package can also be expanded. A two-night package comes with two lift tickets for one day of skiing and one 60-minute spa treatment. The three-night package gets you four adult lift tickets for two days of skiing and a one-hour spa treatment per day. The four-night package ups skiing to three days with six lift tickets and a spa treatment each day.

Departing from outside the front lobby, daily shuttles take skiers and snowboarders to and Marmot Basin. The shuttle is complimentary in this package.
