Season passes are now on sale in Aspen. The sooner you buy, the better deal you’ll get at Aspen’s four mountains: Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass, and Buttermilk. 

The Premier Pass is the big pass option. You’ll get unlimited skiing and riding on any of the four Aspen-owned mountains during the winter season. The pass also gets you summer lift access on Aspen Mountain and at Snowmass, with discounts if you want to bring your bike. Discounts are also available on winter lift tickets for family and friends, equipment rentals, and restaurants. Stay at the Limelight in town and you’ll get 25 percent off this winter, with some blackout dates and limited availability. 

Also new this year with the Premier Pass is unlimited half price skiing at Alta, Jackson Hole, and Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. The price of the for an adult Premier Pass right now is $1,879. Prices are different for kids, teens, college students, seniors, and silver seniors.

The Flex Pass offers you one day of skiing or riding each week on any of the four mountains with the option to add on a day any time for $54. Days may not be carried over from week to week.

The Double Flex Pass is the same, except you get two days a week. Both Flex Passes offer discounts on summer lifts. The price for an adult Flex Pass right now is $969, and an adult Double Flex Pass . The price for a Double Flex Pass is $1,569.

More pass options include lower lift passes, and a four-mountain foot pass.

You can upgrade your pass anytime during the season. If it’s turning out to be a winter with above average snowfall, you may want to spend more time on the snow.

Pass prices in Aspen go up on Nov. 9 so make your decision and pick out your pass soon, before prices are at a premium.
