Thanksgiving Day marks the opening of Sun Valley Resort with usually two lifts on Dollar Mountain and four or five lifts on Bald Mountain. The most popular holiday feast serves 800 people at a time at the convention center in the Sun Valley Inn. The resort’s Thanksgiving Package includes four nights of lodging, three days of skiing and the Thanksgiving Buffet.
Off the slopes, stroll through galleries rich in artistic ambiance, catch a movie or play virtual golf at the Nordic center. Families can also ice skate, swim or bowl.
