The Powderhorn season pass comes with some interesting options this season. Prices for a Powderhorn Mountain Resort Adult Full Season Pass start at $439. Season passes at the popular resort outside of Grand Junction on the Western Slope are on sale now, through Nov. 15. And now, some unique partnerships are being offered.
One option is with Aspen Skiing Company. Add on the “Classic Pass,” which is good for skiing and riding at all four of Aspen’s resorts, which are Aspen, Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk. The cost is $204 for adults and $169 for kids and college students which gets you four days on the slopes. That works out to $50 per day. You’ll also get discounts on extension days and lift access in the summer.
Ski Steamboat with the “Steamboat 5 Pack,” for $149. Powderhorn passholders will get five unrestricted days on the slopes of Steamboat this upcoming season. That includes Christmas and New Year’s holidays. It’s also non-transferrable.
“Our partnership with Powderhorn provides added value and the ideal opportunity for western slope powder hounds to enjoy Steamboat’s signature Champagne Powder snow and all that is Ski Town, U.S.A. during our upcoming 50th Anniversary season,” said Rob Perlman with Steamboat.
The last pass partnership is with Telluride, where passholders can purchase a three-day Telluride pass for $169, and a 20 percent discount off window rates on additional days. “We’re thrilled to be working together with Powderhorn to provide skiers and riders unmatched options from beginner to expert, all within a day’s drive,” said Telluride Vice President of Marketing Matt Skinner.
The winners are those Powderhorn passholders who want to venture down I-70 and experience some of Colorado’s finest ski areas. “Our passholders are dedicated, passionate skiers and riders,” said Daren Cole, Powderhorn’s GM. “We are thrilled to offer three unique partnerships that allow our loyal guests to experience six major Colorado resorts, in addition to Powderhorn, featuring thousands of acres of winter fun.”
