Saas-Almagell in Switzerland is offering a discounted and fun-packed stay for families during the perioid from 21 March to 4 April.

The package includes accommodation for two adults and two children up to 9 years of age (born in or after the year 2000), a six-day ski pass at Saas-Almagell, five days of ski lessons, five lunches, and ski equipment for the kids, welcome drinks, an animation program "Kindergaudi"/Fun for kids, participation at the ski race for guests, and - as long as the temperatures allow - an ice stock game, free entry to the skating rink, and free sledging in the daytime (including sledge hire).

It costs 999 Swiss Francs for a family of four in an apartment or from 1499 Swiss Francs in a hotel on half board with breakfast and dinner included.

Saas Almagell is on the SASS lift pass with neighbours Saas Grund and best known Saas Fee, four kilometres (2.5 miles) away. This small traditional village with 2000 tourist beds has a good beginner/intermediate ski area of its own with snow-making, and a natural ice rink.

The regional SAAS lift ticket covers use of the normal post bus service between the villages although there is no special ski bus. Most of Saas Almagell's terrain is suited to beginners, families, and intermediates; more challenging terrain can be found at Saas Fee.
