Austria's Venet ski area has a number of special offers available throughout the remainder of the winter.

Venet Winter packages run to 13 April and offer excellent deals for 4 or 7 nights, with, for example, four nights' half board and a three-day ski pass from 193 Euros per person.

Then the 'Eventful Easter Weeks' offer free skiing for children at the end of the season.

These special Easter packages for kids up to 14 years (born in 1994 or later) are available from March 23 to April 14 and basically mean children can use the lifts of the Venet ski area free of charge.

In addition the ski area will offer a varied entertainment program for kids including a fun-filled snow labyrinth, a snow Easter bunny, ski races, and more.

The Venet ski area is part of the Tirolwest ski region which is located above several villages, including Zams, a small village 3km (two miles) from the town of Landeck.

It is well situated for visits to ten major ski areas including St. Anton, Ischgl, Nauders, and Serfaus. Also located within 30 km (18 miles) distance is the glacier at Kaunertal.

There is an indoor pool and a very long (6.5k /four mile ) sledge run. Landeck is an important commercial centre for the West Tyrol, an ideally placed touring base from which to strike out in to the Arlberg (St. Anton and Lech) or Western Tyrolean ski areas.
