Cost: All active duty military, as well as spouses and children, will receive free lift tickets and ski or snowboard rentals for any of the three days. Also, group lessons and SKIwee Children's Lesson Programs will be made available for half price.
Info: Valid military photo ID is required. All branches of the U.S. armed forces are eligible, including Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and National Guard active duty members.
Shawnee Mountain will honor military servicemen and women on Military Appreciation Weekend March 20-22.
All active duty military, as well as spouses and children, will receive free lift tickets and ski or snowboard rentals for any of the three days. Also, group lessons and SKIwee Children's Lesson Programs will be made available for half price.

Retired military and reservists and immediate family can buy lift tickets at half price that weekend, with valid photo ID. As a special bonus, those attending Military Appreciation Weekend are welcome to enjoy the Costume Carnival Day and Parade taking place at Shawnee Mountain Sunday, March 22 at 1 p.m.
Shawnee Mountain Ski Area is in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania just off Exit 309 of I-80. Shawnee has vertical drop of 700 feet, 22 slopes and trails, two terrain parks and a snowtubing park, served by a quad, a triple, four doubles, three carpets, a snowtubing carpet, and one tubing tow. The longest trail is just under a mile. Shawnee offers day and night skiing and full snowmaking coverage.
