Stratton's X2 includes a free day of skiing or riding, and costs $79 - about the same as an adult weekend lift ticket. The free day is automatically loaded onto your X2 Card when you buy it.

The X2 Express Card gives holders daily savings all season of $30 off midweek lift tickets and $20 off weekends. Restrictions: $10 discounts apply Feb. 14-20, and the free day cannot be redeemed during that period.

X2 Express is cutting edge convenience. Forget about buying tickets every day. Head straight for the lifts. The X2 Card has your photo and customer ID barcode printed right on it. Stratton's handheld card scanners will admit you in a flash. A credit card linked to the card is automatically charged the discounted rate the first time the card is used each day.

Stratton has 92 trails totaling 36.5 miles of skiing on 497 acres with 2,300 feet of vertical. The area is served by eight lifts, including a high-speed base-to-summit gondola and four, six-passenger lifts. You'll also find terrain parks, convenient lodging, a slopeside Village, Sports Center, and spa.

So far this season, more than 10 feet of snow has fallen on the mountain.
