In Zell am See-Kaprun's case, the resort reports average stays of 5.2 days per guest lodging in four and five-star hotels, which it believes is the best any resort can claim worldwide. Last winter the resort increased visitor numbers from the UK by a fifth, from Denmark by 30.12 per cent and from Poland by 8.44 per cent, leading to a four per cent growth overall.
