Anyone making the trip is likely to be rewarded by fresh snow forecasted for the next few days. With the ski slopes currently closed mid-week, Saturday will be the first day to get on to the powder. Adult tickets are 53 Swiss Francs for one day or 100 Swiss Francs for both. It is likely that five lifts serving 15km (nine miles) of ski sklopes will be open but check ahead with the resort to be sure on the day.
Although the lifts will bno longer run for skiers and boarders until next autumn;'s glsacier ski season begins, Engelberg's ‘Glacier park' on the Titlis Mountain will be open daily through the intervening months, so it's still possible to enjoy the year round snow and ice.
Activities on offer includffing tubing, dog sledding, ice climbing in a glacial crevasse, airboarding and sledging. There's a magic carpet lift to get you back up the slope too.
