The ski area is currently operating three lifts with the Pitz Express and Panoramabahn lifting Snowsports fans up to Austria's highest skiing at 3440m. The resort's long ski season began on 13th September and will continue through to the end of May next year.
The Pitz Express is the fastest underground mountain train in the world covering 1,120 vertical metres over its track length of 3,786m during its eight minute ascent. The Paroramabahn in Austria's highest gondola.
The first trip with the Pitz-Express is at 08.30am, and the last return at 4.30pm with skiing possible through to 4pm. Lift tickets cost 35,50 Euros per day for adults and 21 Euros a day for children during the first month of opening to 10th October. Current snow depth are only 20cm (eight inches) and the area is hoping for more snow.
