"Naturally we're happy to have all the snow," said Jan Linstad, manager of Trysil.
"The snow that comes now has good density, and that is promising for the slopes," he said. "Last night the grooming machines made run #15 ready for impatient skiers who can now finally can try their skis again."
Due to the heavy snowfall the grooming machines had to go back out again in the early hours today. Tonight it's going to snow even more, perhaps as much as 7cm.
"Natural snowfall is great for us now, but we still need minus temperatures in order to keep the snow production going." Mr Linstad concluded.
The first event of the season in Trysil is tomorrow with the "Ski In"-event, featuring competitions, new season gear tests and live après ski.
