Another major storm brought 23 inches (58cm) in two days to Beaver Creek and 22 inches (55cm) in two days to Vail as over the weekend. This storm follows on the heels of a series of early-season snowstorms that have racked up nearly four feet of snow since December 1. 

Vail has 4186 acres open for skiing and riding including Blue Sky Basin and China Bowl.  Beaver Creek has 1306 acres of terrain open including Larkspur Bowl and Grouse Mountain.  Keystone doubled the amount of open terrain in the last week, opening The Outback, North and South Bowls. Breckenridge unveiled its brand-new Peak 7 base area last weekend and upped its terrain to more than 1,300 acres.
