Mount Washington on Vancouver Island puts on a program just for women, but men have their days, too. Women have the CIBC Wood Gundy Women's Week while men have their Kokanee Days for Dudes.

The CIBC Wood Gundy Women's Week is scheduled this winter for Mar. 2-6. "We've done it for years now," public relations director Brent Curtain told OnTheSnow.com. The program includes a discounted lesson package with instruction from female pros. Some women sign up for the entire week, but you can join for only one day, too.

Lunches are included, paired with different wines each day. But the dining takes on a different twist, themed every day with special guest stars. A guitar player accompanies the Spanish lunch, for instance, and the Greek lunch is matched with studs in togas to pose for photos. "The ladies raved," said Curtain. "They had a great time."

The program includes a two-hour lesson, lift ticket, and lunch for $59 per day. The full-day lesson option costs $79. Season passholders can join for reduced rates.

But men aren't left out in the cold. They have their Kokanee Days for Dudes one Friday per month. A lift ticket, afternoon lesson, beer, and munchies are included for $62. "We bring in the Glacier Girls who play Texas Hold'em with the guys," said Curtain. "We get pretty crazy over here on the island." Catch the final two Kokanee Days for Dudes on Mar. 13 and Apr. 3.
