The fun starts on Thursday the 11th at 9pm with a ski race in costumes at the Ski School Centrale's ski slopes in the resort centre. It's a night race with a challenge in four different disciplines: luge, snowshoeing, alpine skiing and nordic skiing using vintage equipment.
On Saturday the 13th, the party moves on to Plaza Placheda with an evening of dancing to the sounds of "Orchestra Don Carlos."
Sunday is the day of the Carnival Parade with floats and masked costumes. The parade will run in the historic village centre and will certainly not pass unnoticed. Participants will meet is at 1pm at Livigno's school.
The party goes on later in the afternoon at Plaza Placheda with a lot of activities and the distribution of Manzole (local sweets), chocolate or tea for all Don't miss the classic challenge of the post of Plenty, the highest in Europe.
The Carnival week ends on February 16 in Trepalle with a parade of floats and costumes masks in the streets of the village starting at 2pm.
