Grand Targhee Resort is offering a lodging deal for American Express cardholders. The American Express Winter Escapes grants a fourth night free to those who purchase a minimum four-night ski and stay package.

Accommodations for this package are in Teewinot Lodge, a slopeside hotel where you can ski right up to the door. Each room comes with two queen beds, a full bath with a tub, a flat screen television, phone, and coffeemaker. Soak after skiing in the large indoor hot tub on the first floor of the lodge or curl up in front of the lobby fireplace to read.

Prices start at $396 per person, based on double occupancy. You must pay in full for the reservation with your American Express card. Other credit cards are not applicable for this deal.

The offer is valid for the duration of this winter's season -- through April 12. Targhee's annual 500 inches of snow fall lasts late into spring. March and April see both deep powder dumps and sunny corn snow days with the tooth of the Grand Targhee in view. Catskiing off Peaked Mountain also runs for the entire duration of the season.
