Congratulations to Alison, Ava and Heather, fromOntario, Canada!
The girls rocked out at the Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine competition, winning a trip to Banff-Lake Louise, their own private photo shoot and centre stage in one of the company's advertising campaigns.
"This is so exciting," said Alison. "The girls and I all love snowboarding but we've never had the chance to ride in Banff-Lake Louise. We can't wait."
Hundreds of skiers and boarders of all ages competed to be crowned Banff's Next Top Model at the Toronto Ski, Snowboard and Travel Show last week. The competition was organized by SBLLS as part of their annual sales presence at the Show. Contrary to typical model searches, the search was centered around people who love to ski or board and live to have fun.
"We were blown away by Alison, Ava and Heather's enthusiasm and energy at the show," said Dan Markham, of Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine. "They'd seen the competition in previous years and turned up determined to win the trip to Banff-Lake Louise. It's that passion and love of snow that makes them perfect to showcase Banff-Lake Louise."
For this competition, wanna-be models posed in front of a "green screen", later to be superimposed against a shot of beautiful Banff-Lake Louise's snow covered mountains.
Now in its third year, the competition has proved a central part of Ski Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine's annual sales presence at the Show, and their advertising campaigns. Previous winners the Bell family (2009) and Christina and Tommy (2008) have been featured in national and international print and video promotions for Mt. Norquay, The Lake Louise Ski Area and Sunshine Village.
