Cataloochee's 6th Annual Fire & Rescue Appreciation Days are Thursday, Feb. 26, and Friday, Feb. 27.

Cataloochee Ski Area is located in the Great Smoky Mountains of Western North Carolina. With its large snowmaking capacity and elevation almost a mile high you can count on skiing at Cataloochee even when it might seem too warm for skiing where you are. Don't forget Tube World, located down the mountain in Maggie Valley for snowtubing at its best.
